Frequently asked questions
Practical answers about dates, locations, event types, timings, equipment and promotional material.
How do I book Gary?
Send the date, venue or postcode, approximate timings, event type and expected audience through the contact form. Gary will reply directly about availability, the suitable performance format and the next practical steps.
Where does Gary perform?
Gary is based around Stoke-on-Trent and regularly covers Staffordshire and nearby areas, including Newcastle-under-Lyme, Hanley, Burslem, Fenton, Longton and Tunstall. Travel outside the core area can be discussed when the date and venue are known.
What types of event can Gary play?
Bookings can include pubs and bars, weddings, birthdays and private parties, corporate occasions, charity and community events, acoustic live-music nights and open mic hosting.
Can the set be adapted to the audience?
Yes. The balance of original songs, recognisable covers, relaxed acoustic material and more upbeat songs can be planned around the room, audience, timings and purpose of the event.
How long does Gary perform for?
Set length depends on the booking. Send the running order and required finish time so Gary can recommend a practical combination of performance time and breaks.
What equipment and space are required?
Gary performs solo with acoustic guitar and vocals. A safe, suitable performance area, mains power and agreed access are required. PA requirements, sound limits, parking and load-in should be confirmed before the event.
How far in advance should I enquire?
As early as possible for weddings, Saturdays and fixed-date events. Short-notice enquiries are still welcome when the diary allows. An enquiry is not confirmed until the booking details are agreed directly.
Can a venue use Gary’s photos and biography?
Yes, the EPK contains approved biography text, showreel links, logo and selected press assets. Contact Gary before making substantial edits or using the material outside promotion of an agreed booking.
Still need an answer?
Send the event details and Gary can reply to the specifics.
